One of the most common reasons to leave Kombiner mid-workflow was to preview a track you hadn’t acquired yet — hop over to Beatport or Spotify, hit play, come back. 0.1.12 eliminates that.

In-App Track Previews
Any track in your library — whether it’s on disk or not — can now be previewed directly in Kombiner. Hit preview on an unacquired track and you’ll get a 30-second clip, streamed instantly, without switching apps.
This works across your entire library. If a track is available from a connected service, Kombiner will find and stream the preview. No searching, no context switching, no losing your place.
Why This Matters
A big part of the DJ workflow is making quick yes/no decisions on tracks. Does this fit the set? Is the mix point where I think it is? Does the energy actually land?
Until now, answering those questions for unacquired tracks meant leaving the app — which interrupted the flow every time. With previews built in, you can move through your library, audition tracks on the spot, and only acquire the ones you know you want.
The goal has always been to keep you in one place. This gets us a lot closer.
